Soma and its effects – should you buy Soma online at all?
Soma is generally prescribed to people having
complaints of severe muscle spasms, which have resulted from severe muscle
injuries, or other muscle conditions. It is a drug which is administered for a
limited period, and not more than two to three weeks. The drug is habit forming,
and often used as a drug abuse because of certain barbiturate content in the
medicine. Soma has been found to react with brain stems, and the spinal cord,
blocking the pain sensation from reaching the brain. It is important to know
that Soma may be habit forming, and should be taken within the prescription
limit.
Soma is not prescribed to the people who have a history of drug abuse. Soma
cannot be prescribed to pregnant women, or women who are still breast feeding so
these persons should never buy Soma without
asking their doctor and close monitoring. It is very necessary to let your
doctor know if you happen to either plan or become pregnant while on the drug.
Allergic conditions to some drug components may prevent you from taking Soma,
and you would need to report this to the doctor before he prescribes Soma to
you. You cannot stop taking Soma without consulting your doctor. Stopping Soma
quite suddenly may cause symptoms to appear, and this could be in the form of
nausea, headaches, loss of sleep, impaired thinking, and many more. This is what
are called the withdrawal effects.
Soma cannot be stopped suddenly. The dose of the drug need to be reduced
steadily before stopping it completely, and this you cannot do without
consulting your doctor. Stopping the medicine may cause harm and have adverse
effects. There are several side effects in administering Soma, and for this
reason it is vital that the doctor knows about your medical and drug abuse
history, including your allergic conditions. If you should be allergic to
carisoprodol or meprobamate, you should inform your doctor. When you are taking
Soma, make it a point not to drive, because your alertness may be affected by
the drug.
If you had or have epileptic conditions, or other seizure disorders, you must
not take Soma. If you had a history of kidney or liver disease, you should avoid
this drug. While taking the drug, you might have some side effects, which would
include agitation, confusion, disorientation, dizziness, and double vision,
enlargement of pupils, extreme weakness, and exaggerated feeling of well-being.
You may have lack of coordination, problems with your speech, temporary vision
impairment, and temporary numbness in your limbs. If any of these symptoms
appear in you while you are on Soma, report it to your doctor as a
pre-cautionary measure.
There are several substances that Soma may react with. These could be those
medicines which have alcohols in it. The medicines used as anti-depressants may
be harmful if taken with Soma. Soma contains a certain type of anti-depressant
and relaxant. There could be over-dose of both. The same thing goes with
sleeping pills. It is difficult to mention all such drugs here which react with
Soma, and this should be verified at the time you visit your doctor. You need to
inform your doctor if you happen to smoke, or drink alcohol.
